Why the licence matters
Volusia’s screen companies compete on responsiveness and price. None of them compete on this, because most of them cannot. If you are handing over five figures for a structure attached to your house, these are the questions worth asking whoever you hire.
An enclosure is permitted work in every Volusia jurisdiction. We pull the permit, answer plan review, and close it out with the inspection. An unpermitted structure follows the property to closing and becomes the seller’s problem years later — usually at the worst possible moment.
Span, post spacing, beam sizing and bracing all follow from the wind speed and exposure category for your specific site — not from what fitted the last job. That number should be on the drawing you are handed, and on ours it is.
Every person on your property is our W-2 employee, covered. No subcontractors. If a crew member is hurt on an uninsured subcontractor’s job, the homeowner can end up part of that conversation — and most homeowners have never been told that.
Galvanised hardware in Florida corrodes, bleeds rust down white frames, and eventually loses its grip at the anchor. Stainless costs more on day one. It is the difference between a cage that is still tight in year fifteen and one that is being re-anchored in year seven.
